The turtles at Paradise, Mabul are the biggest in the area growing up to 5ft long and weighing up to 300kg. Green turtles are a common sight in Mabul especially at Paradise during a dive at 4-6pm.

The Blue-striped fang blenny is a popular subject for macro photographers to shoot because of its amazing colors and smiling face. It is also easy to approach and commonly found. In Kapalai this fish is common and you can find 10 blennies of different species in a single dive!

This is an Ornate ghostpipefish, a rare and bizarre creature that hovers and swim most of the time with its head down. Usually seen in pair, the ghostpipefish stays together to mate. Ghostpipefish are mostly seen in muck diving at Mabul and Kapalai and they come in various color from red to brown, black and yellow.

A yellow Leaf scorpionfish found at Kapalai House Reef. Like Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai are blessed with healthy coral reef that is home to so many colorful fish and crustaceans. Kapalai and Mabul are rated as among the top spots for muck diving and critter finding in the world.

Chromodoris dainae is one of the most common types of nudibranch you can find here at Mabul and Kapalai. These small and colorful sea slugs are always around to accompany you during your dive and it is a normal thing to spot more than 20 different types of nudibranch in a single dive here.

This is a close up shot of a Scorpionfish. There are so many different types of scorpionfish in Mabul and Kapalai that you can see in each dive. The Scorpionfish is a very venomous fish so divers really need to be careful where they put their hands.

The Ambonian shrimp is also commonly called as the Sexy shrimp because of its unusual movement and bright orange color with white spots. Shrimps and crabs are very common here in Mabul and Kapalai but you need to look carefully in every cracks and crevices and anemone and sponges to see them.
